This is a baseline policy for the Light launch. It should be reviewed by counsel and extended once analytics, hosting and any processors are finalised.

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR, BDSG) and this privacy policy. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

3. Hosting & server log files

Our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

4. Contact form & email

If you send us enquiries via the contact form or by email, your details, including the contact data you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) and/or our legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1)(b),(f) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time.

5. Cookies & analytics

This website currently uses only technically necessary cookies / local storage (e.g. to remember your language preference). Should we introduce analytics or marketing tools, we will obtain your consent in advance via a consent banner and update this policy accordingly.

6. Maps & embedded content

We embed map tiles from third-party providers (OpenStreetMap / CARTO). When you view a page with a map, your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider so that the map can be displayed. We have no influence over this data transfer. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the processing (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

8. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the 'https://' in the address bar of your browser.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services.
